Healthy Communications
Communication is the first building block of any healthy relationship. As we age, our roles, responsibilities and health may change, all of which may become difficult issues to discuss with our families. This presentation provides effective ways of communicating, and grounding techniques to help improve communication in relationships to make sure older adult’s wishes are clearly made known and needs are met. We will discuss tips on staying safe, assertiveness, and resources for support when older adults are not being heard.
