Get Involved This Spring!
Research shows that an estimated 30% of Canadian Seniors are at risk of becoming socially isolated. According to the International Federation of Ageing, “the number one emerging issue facing seniors in Canada is keeping older people socially connected and active”.
Maintaining social interactions throughout our lives is essential for our emotional and physical well-being. Social interaction can be achieved by getting involved in the community and engaging with other people, including loved ones.
