ELDER HELP PEEL

Refreshed and Ready to Make a Bigger Impact!

Here at Elder Help Peel, we are proud to present our rebranded website!  For twenty five years, we have provided excellent information, education, and supportive services for the seniors of Brampton and Regional Municipality of Peel. These services are critical in helping shape the diverse cultural and ethnic community as the population ages so that seniors continue to be valued and relevant in our community.

Our objective is to provide relief to aged persons suffering from the onset of aging, including supportive counseling, general health issues and other specialized programs where necessary and as societal conditions change and arise. We provide forums for discussion of issues pertaining to elderly persons, gerontology and the aging process, building bridges between the elderly and youth of our community.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, many of these factors have been affected. As such, we have made significant adjustments to transition our programs into a virtual setting.

From our Friendly Visitor Program to the Active Living program, our services focus on maintaining social interactions between seniors and our volunteers. The idea is to match volunteers with similar interests with seniors and be able to provide meaningful social interactions and make new old friends.

The best part about our services is that all of it is FREE. To find out more about what we do or to become a volunteer, sign up here (hyperlink to sign up volunteer page)
